I reckon AQ must have been determined to be the first to wish you a happy birthday, T.

But as he's started the ball rolling early, everything he said and more.

Have a great day.

I guess A-Q wants to make sure he doesn't miss it!   Since I often do think of the date days ahead, but then forget to send greetings on the day itself, I suspect that it's a good plan.

So - Happy Birthday and many more to come!  And hopefully I'll remember to say that again on the appropriate day.

In case I'm not around for the actual day ...

HAVE A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, T

and even a very happy birthday tea!

Eat, drink and be extremely merry but not to the point of 'tired and emotional'!!

Why, thank you very much my lovely forumates....

I don't plan to do much [which is a treat in itself]...  Undecided

i intend to laze in bed and wait patiently for breakfast [usually on such special occasions i get toast and marmalade and tea..or occasionally an egg on toast..]...  Hungry

then i shall have a leisurely bubble bath...laze about the house and get the servants to answer to my every  whim....[which will probably be at least another cup of tea...]  SORRY i meant to say the children, not servants...

Then i will open the copious ammounts of cards and presents that i always get....[actually it's more often than not 3 or 4 of both...     Sad      but i'm happy with that...always lovely gifts and thoughtful cards....]

Then i will laze about some more and wait for all my friends and family to visit...[i always wait a very long time cos they never visit...they barely even remember actually....]

Then later on i am going bowling and intend to have a few beers to merry the evening away...

A lovely day will have passed...and another year....

Roll on the next...

I appreciate your birthday wishes...thanks so much...  Kiss  Kiss

T, it sounds like you have wonderful plans for the big day! My friend's birthday was on Monday, and we went bowling for hers as well! Tons of fun was had by all, even those who don't enjoy bowling. Though I suspect it might be because we also merried the evening away with...well more than a few beers. Smiley

Toast, marmalade and tea all sound really delicious. I'm so hungry right now! Maybe I should catch a direct flight to England and join you for your breakfast.  Demon

I hope your day goes as well as it sounds it will. I hope you know that you brighten our days each and every time you make an appearance here. And for those whose days you don't brighten, well, I'm sure we don't really want them around anyhow. Smiley Smiley

Happy Birthday!

Well my friends..my birthday came and went...

My laze in bed was interrupted very abruptly at 7.30 a.m. by my post man....i was not a happy bunny, cos not getting up with the alarm is one of the major joys of having a working day off....However, when i saw the huge box he had delivered i let him off.....[on reflection i should have dragged him in to make recompense...- several times.... Shocked ]

The box contained a lovely bouquet of flowers from my nearly-step-children...very nice...

i went back to bed for another snooze and awaited my [yes i was right] toast/marmalade and tea...

Opened my very nice gifts from my girls and ex-hubby... Including; DVD, chocs, wine, MP3 plug in ear muffs, mug, manicure stuff....
Had my bubbly soak..ex and in ternal.....

Found out why i didn't get an egg for brekkie...Meggie had used them all baking me a birthday cake the previous day...it was iced, personalised and had a subtle ammount of candles on it too... Grin

Several friends did visit during the course of the day... laugh

And i had a fab night bowling and beering... laugh  laugh  laugh  laugh  myself hoarse   ...got home to a 3rd degree style interrogation from the girls..but i was home before midnight.. Cool and  Sleeping like the proverbial log...A very nice day indeed....

Anonsi..you brought a tear to my eye with your comment...soppy sausage you.....

But thanks again for all your good wishes.....
