Still here, mate, still waiting to be laid!  Don't feel lonely ... I am here ... bet you've got loads of good mates you can call on .... I haven't really ... seem to have grown away from most of them and am woeful at keeping in touch.  One of my mates lives in the same street as me and I hardly ever see her ... don't like her husband much!  Not bothered anyway ... have always been a bit of a loner in some respects and not interested in 'keeping up with the Joneses' like she is now.  Pity, we were such good friends once!

I have got good mates...but we have all got kids about the same age, so it's difficult to get babysitters etc...
It is big serious chat night with Roy's daughter tonight....got a few major things to sort out...and i can't say i'm looking forward to it...in fact it has been worrying me all week...

Hope it goes ok ... does she live with you?  My son is being a bit wayward at the moment ... told me he was staying somewhere last night and found out that he was elsewhere ... little devil!    Still, he's 16 now and I suppose rebellion comes with the territory!  Doesn't stop me worrying though ... and why has he got an expensive mobile phone which he never answers and is never switched on when I want to contact him yet it never stops ringing and beeping when his mates want to speak to him?!!!  Sound like an old biddy now so I'll shut up.  Federer just beaten Ferrero

No, no thrilling plans for me, T.  My brother and his wife are coming to visit, so there will be a lot of family time.

At any rate, L, we knew that was going to happen.  Keep us posted on when you finally get laid.

Yes she does...until she goes off to uni in Sept...mostly it is ok...but..
The same thing has just happened...i had the whole shpeel about a party blah blah...and have found out she wasn't there, if there was one...it is the capacity to lie so readily and easily and convincingly that worries me...she is out too often and drinking too much, all the usual stuff i suppose, but as i am her guardian at the moment i don't want anything to happen.

Family time sounds good... it's good to catch up and chill out together. We don't do much of that as a family unfortunately...which is why i always wanted to be part of the Waltons or the live in The Little House on the Prairie...

My son responds better to my expressions of disappointment, rather than anger, and doesn't like to 'fall out' with me as he's very soft-hearted really.  He's rather fond of the drink, too but, lucklily, so far, I've never seen him the worse for wear!  I was a bit of a handful at 16 and there are lots of things I didn't tell my mother (though she got to find out in the way that mothers do) so I can now appreciate how concerned she must have been!

Still waiting for the f****** carpet fitters!!!!!

But she is very good at the emotional blackmail thing... I'm an orphan so you can't say horrible things to me even if they are the truth...
It feels a bit like - Rock  me   HARD PLACE...

She can't play on that for ever .... I'm sure you'll find the right words from your vast vocabulary!  I've seen my son for approximately 30 minutes today ... reckon he's keeping out of my way ... but I'll be waiting!!!

Just the bedroom ... they're thumping and banging about overhead at this moment!!!  Don't know what the neighbours will think is going on at 4.30 in the afternoon!!!

V. posh ... even got wallpaper, how posh is that?  Hubby gone down for the Chinese ... am absolutely famished with all the Farmers' Market talk!  Glad your talk went well ... relax now and treat yourself to a glass or 5 of wine!
