Let us not allow the discussion of this illustrious game to degenerate into a display of innermost private sexual feelings. Suffice to say that my money (yes, hard cash!) is on the nose of Andy Murray to blast Rafa onto the first plane back home!!!! Hungry Hungry Hungry

Indeed he is but I must admit Murray's playing very well .... still sulky faced though and without the charm etc etc etc of Rafa!  Demon

Innermost? It seems to me that the Rafael-ites' feelings are outermost, and not private at all Wink They've kept it pretty clean up 'til now. Degenerate is in the eye of the beholder. And you'll never convince me that sports isn't about sex much of the time, anyway, whether overt or subliminal.

I'm sure you're right, R-M - there has to be some reason other than fashion that Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue has such high sales.

Remember I am your 'original traditionalist'; sport for sport's sake and all that.

Murray did play well, but Rafa's injury was the deciding factor. The commentator should not have said,'If anybody can come back from 2 sets down it has to be Rafa.' He tempted Fate, and Fate came to court! I hope the guy is soon better; there is a lot of tennis coming up.

I think I love you, SG!  You are such a gentleman.  Please tell me you look like Inspector Morse and you will have won me over completely!  Demon

Awwww, shucks....now you are embarrassing me! Thankfully beauty is but skin deep. Having once met John Thaw (and wife Sheila Hancock) on King's Cross Railway station, I can safely say I don't have Morse's looks, nor his brains, only his luck with the ladies.(I shall have been married 45 years come March, so you will gather I am jesting.)
Back to the tennis. Delicately poised at 1 set apiece. Hungry Hungry

If you've been married for 45 years, it seems to me that you have luck with one very important lady! Smiley
